8 Week Flower CSA- Tuesday Pickup
The flower CSA forms the core of the farm- the crop planning process is built around making sure these bouquets are filled with a luscious and fun diversity of flowers. Buying a CSA subscription gets you 8 glorious weeks of flowers harvested at their peak, to support the longest vase life possible once you bring them home.
Pick up your bouquets after 3:30pm at Milkweed Farm in Westminster or the Root Social Justice Center in Brattleboro. All subscribers will receive an email confirming the start date 2 weeks before.
The dates are: July 23, July 30, Aug 6, Aug 13, Aug 20, Aug 27, Sept 10, Sept 17. *There will be no flowers for Sept 3.*
Each week, you will receive a generous bouquet that should fill a quart sized mason jar or equivalently sized vase. With proper care, (changing water daily and perhaps snipping the ends), they should last a week, if not longer.
Subscriptions cost $27/week. This amount includes VT sales tax, and the various fees. If you would like to avoid paying these fees, please email me to sign up and we can discuss paying by check or cash. Please also reach out if you would like to split payment into two parts. The first half is required to confirm your spot, and the second half will be due by August 15.

Farming is inherently unpredictable, so no specific flowers are guaranteed, but they will most definitely be beautiful! I choose varieties to grow based on bloom quality, subjective “beauty”, vase life, and performance in the field. Some will probably be familiar, but I hope you get to meet some new flowers through this season!
If you are unable to pickup your bouquet, I recommend finding a friend to get it for you. If you can’t please let me know so I can communicate to the pickup site about it. These subscriptions are only possible because of the support of the other businesses sharing their space, and bouquets that are not picked up on time can become confusing for those businesses and their employees.
